About Chris
Chris is the founder of The Strategy Segment, bringing together over 30 years of expertise in strategy, finance, and change management.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Chris sought to broaden his understanding of business beyond finance. His journey led him to roles in strategy facilitation and change management, where he discovered that integrating these disciplines with finance could drive sustainable business performance.
Influenced by The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook and Business Model Generation, Chris embraced greater visual and whole-of-business approaches to innovation and growth over traditional static, text-heavy and fragmented methods. Chris has adapted this approach to consult across various industries, serving private companies, public corporations, non-profits, and government entities.
Chris’ ability to combine visual thinking, financial insights and change management has transformed business outcomes for profit, non-for-profit and start-up businesses effected by extreme price competition, significant debt obligations, legislative changes, insolvency, political and economic uncertainties.
